Let´s go rocking tonight

Savonlinna is nearly always regarded as an open opera town, but you don´t have to avoid the place if you like rock or pop. Many restaurants offer live music both indoors and outdoors, and they will surely keep the folks rocking. For example, brewery restaurant Huvila´s excellent gigs in the gorgeous lakeside setting near the downtown, and the awesome club nights with Finnish rock stars in Happytime Bar are memorable moments from the warm summer nights in Savonlinna.

In the centre of Savonlinna, in the end of a white walking bridge are the "Island of the Fortunate" which are the home of Savonlinna Hall, one of the greatest cocert and congress venues in Finland. On the Savonlinna Hall you can enjoy concerts of leading Finnish artists throughout the year.
